Boobs and Why Men Love Them

Boobs and Why Men Love Them Boobs and Why Men Love Them
By Hita Prem
Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) wondered, "I mean seriously, they are just breasts. Every second person in the world has them." Exactly, every second person in the world has them. Your mother, your aunt, your grandmother, your teacher, Bruce Jenner... Oops! Caitlyn Jenner. Anyway, The underlying point is, breasts are not a big deal. They are just round, bouncy, fat that are like drooping extras on the female anatomy. Nothing breathtaking about it.
But, we have to face it. Men are hardwired to worship them. Straight men and particular women of course. Apart from the sexual impression breasts have, the question of the hour is, Would they love boobs if there was something wrong with it? No, not breast cancer.
  1. Polymastia (Accessory breasts): A more scientific name would be mammae erraticae. Apart from the movie fiction fans, there have been reported cases of polymastia since the 15th Century. Here is another added surprise. These extra mammary glands are not always located on the chest. A woman named, Therese Ventre of Marseilles, France, had an extra nipple on her thigh. When she reached puberty, it too matured. She became pregnant and was able to supply milk through them. That's right. Milk through her breasts, located on her thighs.
  2. Nippleless Breasts: It is not a documented condition as such, but it is definitely a craze amongst a few. Having one's nipples removed surgically is something the doctors have to be put through. In a more philosophical approach, a few of those with breast cancer have this condition as well. Having a perfectly smooth, round breasts are something a few women dream of, though. But to be frank, nipples are the best part of a scintillating chest. Right men?
  3. The Largest: In the elaborate study done in 2013, men who love big breasts are financially insecure. In that case, those who are in love with Annie Hawkins-Turner are going to go hell-bent and homeless. She has officially broken all records. With a measure of 72 inches all around and 43 inches under-bust, with a bra size of 48V, she holds the record for the World's Largest Natural Breasts. Guessing all of her friends might be chiropractors. No offence Annie. You Go, Girl!
  4. Gynecomastia: They are also known as man boobs. It is self-explanatory. But the weird fact is, there are a few men who get it done surgically. Straight men, as a matter of fact. A man named Adam Carolla, from New York, got his own pair of beauties because he could not find a girlfriend. No comments man. Whatever works for you. You just keep doing what you got to do.
  5. Paget's Disease: A malignant breast disease that involves the change in skin and nipples. At first, the skin develops a rash, like eczema. Later on, bloody or straw tinted discharge. The nipple may turn inwards.

So, back to the question of the hour. Are breasts still extremely sexy and interesting even if they aren't perfect? Ask yourself that question and then maybe we can ogle at beautiful women with their massive mammary glands.

Finding the Right Provider for Site Management Research and Testing

Finding the Right Provider for Site Management Research and Testing Finding the Right Provider for Site Management Research and Testing
By Nicholas Focil
SMO clinical research is vital to the various pharmaceutical companies out there as well as many other businesses. The value they offer though can be compromised if you don't have a great provider in place. Don't pick one at random and don't pick one based on them offering you the lowest price. You need to have safeguards in place and evaluate the reputation of such an entity.
The resources they bring to the table can be very valuable to your program and the desired outcomes you are after. They should be credible and they should be able to offer you detailed reports on the outcomes they have experienced with the testing and research. You can hire a SMO clinical research to run a particular clinical trial for you from start to finish.
Recruiting
At the start of the process, there has to be a method in place for recruiting. This is how potential participants will learn about the clinical trial. They will have the option to submit an application if they meet certain criteria. It is important for the criteria to be very detailed and shared so that it weeds out those who aren't a good match.
For example, the study may be looking for those in a particular age group or with a certain health concern. The types of filers used for the recruiting can often influence how it is advertised and the types of outreach that are put in motion to get enough of a pool to select candidates from.
Enrollment
Part of the early stages of SMO clinical research involve time spent with the enrollment process. They will go through the applicants and select those that do meet the requirements. Next, they will contact them and may do a phone or face to face interview. Those who are asked to go through the process will need to be informed of what will take place and any compensation.
The SMO clinical research needs to reach out to those who showed an interest and explain to them what the study is all about. They need to answer any questions they may have too because people who feel skeptical or unsure aren't going to follow through with it. Enrollment is higher when those participating are well informed.
Data Management
Every part of the research has to be carefully handled. The data management is an essential part of SMO clinical research. They have to show everything was done in compliance with the laws and regulations. They also have to show the information for the control group and those in the test group. If the data is compromised, the entire testing and research is also compromised.
The data needs to remain confidential so the SMO clinical research company has a responsibility to have such safeguards in place. They need to make sure the personal details of those involved aren't compromised. They can compile data without naming the subjects individually. Find out what measures they will take for your particular needs to protect them.
Quality Setting
The company has to show they have a quality setting and the right processing for every stage of the research. They have to show they have qualified employees in place and they need to continue to train on best practices. This is job too large and too important to put into the hands of just any company. Make sure you hire a seasoned business with plenty to offer to you.
When all of the pieces of the puzzle fit, you can get a great research project under way. You can count on it to be done correctly. The results can be reported to you and the information can be deemed as credible.

Controls and Credibility Are Essential for Testing

Controls and Credibility Are Essential for Testing

Controls and Credibility Are Essential for Testing
By Nicholas Focil

The information gathered from clinical trials and clinical research is often used to help verify details and to help continue to move forward various concepts. The information can be used to conclude a product is too risky for humans to use due to the long-term effects. Other times, it can open up a new opportunity by verifying a product helps reduce symptoms and helps people.

It can be a long process to get the initial concept to the clinical trials and clinical research stages thought. There is plenty of paperwork that has to be completed and plenty of controls that must be in place. Complying with legal issues is part of the struggles and you also have to look at the ethical elements. It can be a complex web of information to sift through to make sure it is all legal.

Finding the right participants for clinical trials and clinical research also plays a role in the outcome. At the same time, those involved in the process have to be unbiased in all of it. They have to be objective so they don't corrupt the outcomes - either accidentally or intentionally. This can undermine the entire operation and it can result in your company losing funding.

The Right Methods

In order for the outcomes to be credible and to continue being built upon, they must be done correctly. The right methods have to be put forth for that type of clinical trials and clinical research to be successful. This can be time consuming and at times it can be expensive. Yet it is an investment that helps to get results and to continue moving forward with science.

Who you hire to take care of the various phases of your clinical trials and clinical research makes a significant impact on the outcomes. You need to learn all you can about that provider to verify their methods, their credibility, and the credentials they have in place. You need to spend time talking to them to see if they can take on the needs of your specific type of study.

If anything is compromised, the entire clinical trials and clinical research relating to that subject matter won't be credible. The time, money, and effort involved with it will be all for nothing. You have to make sure you have the right foundation in place from the beginning. You also need to make sure you have the right provider on your team to work with.

Such a provider can help you with getting the right samples in place for the test. This includes the test group and your control group. You may not have experience on how to randomly pick or how to get specific criteria met. However, they are experts in this type of filtering so they are able to get the ball rolling correct from the very beginning of your process.

Documentation and Reports

The outcomes should be provided to you with detailed documentation and reports. It is important to outline with the provider when you will get such information. It should be at regular intervals through the duration of the studies. The information needs to be very detailed and it needs to be easy to understand.

The results of such information can help you to decide what you would like to do. This can include the decision to move forward with additional testing and studies, to end the research due to the outcomes, or to modify options and try a new path. Such information is very important and you need to know the provider is going to make it a top priority to delivery correctly.

Six Tips for Finding a New Physician

Six Tips for Finding a New Physician Six Tips for Finding a New Physician
By Anna Woodward
For many people, finding a new physician can be a difficult task, especially if they've recently moved. While they can always turn to their friends and family for recommendations or speak to their current practice, finding someone they feel comfortable establishing a relationship with can be daunting. Here are a few things to consider when starting the hunt for a new general practitioner.
Call the Insurance Company
For individuals with active insurance policies, it's best to contact a service representative to discuss which doctors are covered under their policy. Working with practitioners outside of their coverage network often leads to increased costs and reduced insurance coverage for prescribed treatments. The insurance provider will have a list of local practices that are covered under each policy and can provide recommendations.
Look at Specialists
While a general practitioner may be able to treat most conditions, they are not always specialists in specific conditions. If a patient has a pre-existing medical diagnosis or was seeing a specialist before moving, they may want to look for a similar practice in the area. Calling their former physician for a recommendation is always one of the best places to start.
Consider Hours of Availability
Life gets busy and finding time to make it to a doctor's appointment is not easy. For individuals with kids or a demanding work schedule, it's important to find a physician with hours that can accommodate their availability. Some practices offer early morning appointment times or extended walk-in hours for last minute non-emergency treatment. However, other practices are only open on certain days of the week or during very limited hours.
Ask for Their Qualifications
Not all medical schools carry the same reputation. Before becoming a regular patient, it's important to ask for the doctor's qualifications. Find out where they received their medical degree and any additional training. While the prestige of their medical school should not be the sole deciding factor, it can help narrow down a list of potential healthcare professionals.
Research Their Practice
The internet is a great way to gauge a physician's reputation. Online review sites like Yelp and Facebook can provide insight into patient satisfaction while the Better Business Bureau often sheds light on any billing complications or legal actions taken against the practice. A doctor could be worth consideration if people are leaving positive reviews.
Don't Be Afraid to Visit a Few Practices
Visiting a doctor to gauge their bedside manner is perhaps the easiest way to make a decision. This gives patients a chance to get to know the doctor and find out if they like their personality. It's important to find a practice where a patient feels comfortable enough to discuss their medical condition openly. If a doctor or their support staff makes them feel uneasy or nervous when talking about their symptoms, it's best to keep looking.

Step Outside of Your Usual Rut

Step Outside of Your Usual Rut Step Outside of Your Usual Rut
By Irene Roth
We all get into sulks and ruts. And this is especially the case for chronically-ill individuals who experience a lot of pain and fatigue all the time. Life just seems to carry on in a monotonous fashion, with nothing ever being different.
One of the best ways to get out of the rut of the usual and monotonous is to take steps to change things up a bit. You may want to take on a new habit. Or, go out with a new friend for a while. Or, pick up the phone and call someone that you wouldn't try before.
When everything that we do is the same, our life can seem like a prison of sorts, where everything follows exactly the same patterns to the minute.
So, here are a few things that you could do to change things up for yourself:
1. Plan to do something different once a week. Schedule it into your planner so that it happens.
2. Buy something nice for yourself that will put a smile on your face-that could be a bouquet of flowers or get some new nail polish.
3. Give yourself a new manicure.
4. Go for a pedicure.
5. Buy one new garment for yourself-something that puts a smile on your face.
6. Read a book that is inspiring and that puts a smile on your face.
7. Take a course or workshop to improve your life.
8. Go for a walk-even if it is a short one-if you get a beautiful day. By walking once a day even for a few minutes you will feel more alive and inspired.
9. Go to the movies-either alone or with a friend. Just don't go with any family members-people you are always with.
10. Ask a friend if she would like to join you for a coffee. If not, go for a coffee yourself to your favorite spot. Sit in a comfy chair and enjoy your coffee, sip by sip.
11. Become proactive with your health-if you don't feel well take it easy. Don't push yourself past your pain. This will help you to feel more alive and inspired.
12. Avoid stress as much as this is possible.
13. Accept things more-even if things are awful!
14. Smile often, even if it is for no apparent reason.
15. Groom yourself-look good and take steps to feel good.
By taking these steps, you will feel better and get out of the rut of the usual and mundane.
Individuals who do this find that they feel better, experience less pain, sleep better, and feel more in control of their illness. Now that is a winning combination to living well.
Irene S. Roth writes for teens, tweens, and kids about self-empowerment. She is the author of over thirty-five books and over five hundred online articles. Air Quality, Mold & Your Mitochondria

Air Quality, Mold & Your Mitochondria Air Quality, Mold & Your Mitochondria
By Rex Murphy
Nearly every home and office has some degree of indoor air pollution. Poor indoor air quality is widespread enough for the EPA to put out a statement recently placing poor indoor air quality in the top five major health threats we face today. That's huge. More specifically, most homes and offices have mold and mold spores as part of the mix of pollutants. Mold is not only a very strong carcinogen, but along with increased allergy and asthma symptoms, the mycotoxins produced by mold spores cause a variety of health problems when mold spores are inhaled. And recently, many of those health problems are being found to be connected to how these mycotoxins damage the mitochondria in all of our cells. This makes getting rid of mold and filtering the air of primary importance if your goal is optimal health for yourself and your family.
Why do we have mold in so many homes and offices? It's primarily the result of two things: excess moisture and indoor air conditioners. Mold spores are literally everywhere. And when an air conditioner has a coil that cools by condensing and evaporating water from a coil the blowing air across it, mold spores easily find the moisture they need to reproduce, along with other organic material (dust and other things) that settle on the coil and create a great environment for mold (and bacterial) growth. Then, every time the AC turns on, it blows some of the mold spores out into the ducts polluting them, and out into the rooms of your home or office, polluting the air you breathe every day.
And that's just the effect of an air conditioning system polluting the air. If you have any weather damage or other water damage in the home or building, mold will set up and grow there, as well, allowing mold spores to become airborne. And no, even the best AC filters aren't enough to stop mold spores--most of them are too small and pass right through, and some debris stuck to the inside of the ducts blows out of the vents and you breathe that before it can be recirculated back through the AC to have the filter remove some of it. And... a UV light will help kill airborne bacteria and mold, but doesn't trap anything, leaving the tiny particles in the air to cause reactions.
This is why it is vital to actually filter the air in your home and office with one or more portable air purifiers in the rooms where you spend time, ideally. Portable air purifiers are better because they will grab what's in the air in your room or office before you can breathe those pollutants. This prevents the mold spores from settling on our skin and prevents them from being inhaled. preventing a variety of health problems--and mitochondrial damage. If you want some really good information on mold and how bad the problem really is, check out Dave Asprey's documentary on YouTube called Moldy. And for some very in-depth and usable information on how mold and other things affect our mitochondria, check out his groundbreaking new book 'HeadStrong'. It is an incredible book on the subject of mitochondria.
Bottom line for preventing mold and the health issues it causes is to 1) make sure to fix any leaks or other sources of excess moisture in the home or building, keeping the indoor humidity at 35-45% maximum. Any higher than that is enough to feed mold and bacterial growth. 2) be sure to filter the air in your home or office with a quality portable air cleaner with medical HEPA and quality activated carbon. This will remove the majority of any airborne mold spores, dust mites, chemicals, and other pollutants we don't need to breathe.
As always, we hope this information helps you and those you love live a healthier, happier life.

Your Doctor Just Prescribed Kidney Failure Treatment - Now What?

Your Doctor Just Prescribed Kidney Failure Treatment - Now What? Your Doctor Just Prescribed Kidney Failure Treatment - Now What?
By Morris Raymond
You've just been told that your kidneys are no longer working the way they need to be, and as such, you're now in need of treatment to essentially keep you alive. The good news is that you have options, and the idea of kidney failure treatment proves to be a rather hopeful ray of light during an otherwise dark time in your life.
Oddly enough, it tends to be the psychological aspect of hearing bad news about your health that can weigh heavily on a patient & his or her family. How did this happen? When did it happen? Did I do this? Why is this happening to me/us? Questions abound, and without many answers, it is easy to see why so many patients facing kidney failure can sink into a lull if not a full depression.
Though better said than done, however, it's important for the patient and his or her family to face the news with a plan. Answers to tough questions will come, but right now, you need to devise a way to move forward & seek treatment based on your doctor's recommendations. In fact, what is needed is a decidedly strong-willed nature & a commitment to provide the best environment for your treatment.
Think about it. When you get sick with some sniffles and a little cough, depending on your mental approach to the symptoms, you can either feel a little "off" or absolutely out-for-the-count ill with no chance for recovery. Your mental strength plays an important role in your health, and as such, your kidney failure treatment requires the following from you and those around you:
- following your treatment schedule
- following a special diet
- taking any, and all, the medications prescribed for you
It must be stated, though, that you need to know what exactly is going on inside of you. It is important to maintain an open and honest relationship with your doctor. Before the treatment schedules, diets, and medications, ask your doctor to explain where you are based on stages of the progression of your kidney failure. By better understanding what it is your body is doing, you will be better able to grasp that your treatment is aimed at helping you maintain a productive life even while in the midst of major organ failure.
Your doctor will indicate that you will either need dialysis or an organ transplant. You should talk about the pros and cons of each treatment option with your family & with their input and the advice of your doctor, choose the option that fits best.
Though it is a bit of a darker way of looking at your prognosis, you need to keep in mind that even though you have treatment options, treatment does not mean a cure. There is work to be done on the horizon, but with that said, kidney failure treatment is a reason to feel optimistic about the road ahead for both you and your loved ones.

Considering Cool Sculpting

Considering Cool Sculpting Considering Cool Sculpting
By Salvatore Soulliere
A thing you need that many individuals always seem to struggle with is excess fat. It is usually more difficult to lose fat in several zones of the body even if you happen to be on a nutritious and exercise regimen. This can result in many individuals looking at options like surgery together with other similar procedures to eradicate the excess fat. One procedure that is rising in popularity now involving this is Cool Sculpting, and you may read more about this method below.
This non-surgical procedure is meant to scale back fat in particular areas of the body via controlled cooling. It is at the moment FDA-cleared in the United States to be used on areas of the body that include the thighs, abdomen, under the chin, back, sides, and by the buttocks. Additionally it is come in several countries, but each one has their very own restrictions for the areas of the human body that they may use it on.
This process is for eliminating fat cells. For many that have lost excess weight or are while in process of losing weight, the amounts of fat cells in the body can decrease, and even though you might even see areas shrinking, many do not. It is considered that humans have a fixed variety of fat cells that only change size rather than quantity through weight loss and gain. This technique helps "sculpt" the system to the desired configuration by reducing the actual number of fat cells, hence the name.
You must understand that not everyone qualifies for this procedure. Normally, it is supposed for those within 30 pounds or thereabouts of their total target weight with stubborn fat in the areas approved for treatment. The only way to know should you be eligible sure is to get conferring with a specialist. In the event you qualify, then they craft a process on which area or important aspects to treat, along with how many treatments are required, and what should be done and expect for healing and beyond.
The steps involves the sufferer lying down while specialist places a cooling device situated on the chosen area or areas. The cooling work to only target fats cells in the world while leaving the surrounding tissues alone. Fats cells eventually shrink and collapse leading to other cells naturally consuming them so that they do not redistribute to other areas of the body. For the reason that cells are frozen after which eaten by other cells, the outcome is usually noticed within 1 to 3 months and therefore are presupposed to be long-lasting.
While considered a safe alternative to other surgical treatments, some patients may experience side effects. Many are mild and range from skin irritation to bruising to tightness and pulling. Jobs done across the chin may cause a feeling of fullness behind the throat. If these symptoms persist otherwise you encounter some serious unwanted side effects, you should see your health care provider right away.
As you can see, there are various benefits to the steps known as Cool Sculpting. It is considered a safer option instead of surgical treatments to get rid of stubborn fat and sculpt our bodies of your dreams. However, like every procedure, make sure to speak with your doctor first to view if this happens to be a secure choice for you.
